We have 10 of thousands of Enhanced Search filters and they are not getting synced as part of the background sync. We are told this is because a single individual has too many filters.
Since enhanced search filters are a bit more complex than other filters, it usually takes a set of individuals in the organization to write them on behalf of others, thus a single person having thousand of filters.
Even providing the ability to change the owner to spread this load is not a complete solution, we need a better architected solution for the background sync, so that is consistently executes all syncs.
This has been a MAJOR pain point for our Org as well. Thank you Bonnie for putting this out there!
@Jon.carter Can you get people from your organization to Upvote on this request so it gets the attention needed from the Enhanced Search product owner to prioritize this request.
Bonnie and I have asked people from our org to upvote on this.
We will also be surfacing this for upvotes in our org, as we’re struggling with this behavior also. Our largest filter owners are below 1,000, which seems quite reasonable.
Thank you to Bonnie for submitting, and let’s all hope it can be improved soon.
